Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

DIMVIA (“DIMVIA,” “we,” “us”) operates a creative production platform that turns a written idea into a Hollywood-style production package, including story, character, world, and production design content, and in some cases rendered video. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what rights you have over it.

2. Information we collect

• Account information: name, email address, and password (your password is stored and managed by our authentication provider using industry-standard hashing — we never see or store your raw password).
• Payment information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, your card details are collected and processed directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We never receive or store your full card number, CVC, or other raw payment credentials on our own servers.
• Content you provide: story ideas, premises, genre/format selections, and any production bible documents (PDF, DOCX, or TXT) you upload.
• Content we generate for you: characters, locations, props, story bibles, scripts, images, and video clips created from your input.
• Usage information: pages visited, features used, and basic device/browser information, collected to keep the service working and to improve it.

3. How we use your information

• To create and operate your account and studio.
• To generate the creative content you request.
• To process subscription payments and manage billing.
• To save and display your productions and productions-in-development.
• To communicate with you about your account, billing, or changes to this policy.
• To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

4. Who we share information with

We use the following third-party service providers to operate DIMVIA. Each processes a limited slice of your information solely to provide their specific service to us:

• Cloud infrastructure & authentication provider — account authentication and database/file storage.
• Payment processor — payment processing and subscription billing. Our payment processor is PCI-DSS compliant; we do not store your raw card details.
• Third-party AI model providers — text, image, and video generation from your submitted ideas.

Each sub-processor receives only the limited data needed to provide its specific function. A current list of our sub-processors is available on request at privacy@dimvia.com. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share your story ideas or generated content with other customers.

5. Data retention

We retain your account information and saved productions for as long as your account remains active, plus a reasonable period afterward for legal, billing, and security purposes. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 7).

6. Cookies and local storage

DIMVIA stores a session token in your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in. We do not currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@dimvia.com.

8. Children’s privacy

DIMVIA is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. International transfers

Our service providers may process and store information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on standard contractual safeguards for these transfers.

10. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We’ll post the updated version here with a new “last updated” date.
