Do I need to buy credits?
No. DIMVIA doesn't use credits or usage-based billing. You have platform access for My Studio, and every production you manufacture gets one fixed quote before work begins.
What does my subscription include?
Your Creator subscription ($29 USD/month) gives you full access to My Studio, unlimited saved productions, Character Library, Asset Library, Cloud Workspace, Project Management, and every platform update during your subscription.
Does my subscription include manufacturing?
No. Your subscription covers platform access only. Manufacturing any production — a Production Bible, a short film, a feature, or anything else — is quoted and purchased separately before work begins.
How is my fixed quote calculated?
DIMVIA plans your complete production first — story, cast, runtime, and scope — then prices manufacturing based on exactly what that production needs. You see the full price before anything is made.
Why is manufacturing separate?
Every production is different — length, complexity, and scope all vary. DIMVIA plans your exact production first, then gives you one fixed price for manufacturing before anything is made.
Will my price change during production?
No. Once you approve a manufacturing quote, that price is locked. It does not change during manufacturing.
What happens if a provider has a technical problem?
DIMVIA automatically retries and recovers within your approved production plan. A technical problem on our end never creates a surprise charge to you.
What happens if I change my production after confirming?
Small adjustments are a normal part of production planning. Material changes after you've approved your quote require a new quote, since they change the scope of what's being manufactured.
Can I create only a Production Bible?
Yes. You can stop after planning and keep your Production Bible without manufacturing anything.
Can I produce the movie later?
Yes. Your Production Bible is saved to your account for as long as your subscription is active. Request a manufacturing quote whenever you're ready.
Can I create multiple projects?
Yes. Your Creator subscription includes unlimited saved productions, so you can develop as many projects as you want in My Studio.
When do I receive my production quote?
After DIMVIA plans your production. Once your Production Bible is complete, you receive one exact price for manufacturing before you approve anything.
